Spectrum Logo Design

Earlier this year I was invited on a project to help with a small startup company in Oman. The company specializes in eco-friendly advertising display solutions. Instead of using traditional plastic media, they use eco-friendly fabrics. They also use water based non toxic inks for printing. The startup budget was very limited so I was called on to add value in various parts of the business. One of the most important bits was the logo design for the company and eventually the website and social media channels.

The people behind the business idea came up with the company name and tagline, Spectrum – Imagination that Works. With reference to the colour spectrum to represent a print company.

The design was to be simple, but standout. The logo is an S for Spectrum displayed as a ribbon to represent the fabric. The colour spectrum has been used from one end of the ribbon to the other.

The font used for the company name text is Harabara Mais.
