Web Design in Goa
January 17, 2015Portable storage is dull, lifeless and yet a necessity to lug around in today’s digital world. Manufacturers seek more attractive designs for their storage devices blurring the lines between form and function. USB flash storage drives have for a long while now become a regular resident in our fashion accessories. People are showing off their storage in bracelets, neck pieces, key chains etc.
On the flip side, more traditional and larger capacity storage devices still struggle to make design breakthroughs. Many have tried to give the rectangular case that protects the hard disk better looking shells that could possibly make a statement. Well, who would’ve thought, stripping all the covering away and taking just the basics to a whole other level would do just that.
Seagate’s statement is loud and clear. We’re not just making high capacity storage look good, we’re pushing the envelope where design meets technology. Enter the Seagate Seven. The Seven in the model name is from how thick this device is, just 7mm! That’s just a hair thicker than the iPhone 6 which is 6.9mm. The launch model is a 500GB traditional rotating platter hard disk drive enclosed in a stainless steel body and it looks absolutely stunning.
