Pecha Kucha is Japanese for chit-chat and a couple of guys, Astrid Klein and Mark Dytham turned it into something cool. The concept is quite simple, present yourself in 20 slides with 20 seconds a slide. The concept was invented to promote creatives and allow them to come together to showcase their talents without the extremely long talks.
Pechakucha Nights in Muscat is currently organized by talented Omani designer Sara Fida. Now in it’s seventh volume, Pechakucha Nights Muscat has grown into a rather successful gathering. A lot of the local creatives which include Omanis and expats alike await the opportunity to be selected to speak at the event.
Volume seven, sponsored by Omantel is set to happen on the 21st of April 2015 at 20:20 (that’s 8:20 pm) and moves back to it’s beloved hideout at Second Cup in Qurum near CCC.
